For one of our leading clients from the IT industry, we currently have an opening for the position of Azure Enterprise Architect based in Seattle Washington

Desired candidate profile:

  • Experience in defining & realizing end-to-end architecture for building enterprise data platforms

  • Experience in Data Architecture/ Design activity with Erwin or similar tool

  • Strong in logical & physical data modeling

  • Strong in MS SQL, MySQL, running on premise and in the Azure Cloud

  • Preferred experience in Data migration from heterogenous sources to MS Azure data platforms

  • Must have knowledge on Azure Data Factory components.

  • Should have strong understanding of data lakes, ODS,

  • Should have experience/knowledge of visualization tools like PoweerBI, Tableau, Clickview etc

  • Good Knowledge on Big Data tools, NoSQL DB

  • Should have good knowledge of tools like Spark, Kafka, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS,

  • Experience in Data Warehouse tools using SSIS, SSRS,

  • Working knowledge on Master Data Management (Informatica, Talend etc.)

  • Data Governance & Data security knowledge.

  • Ability to work closely with Sr Leadership team members - both internal and customer teams

  • Problem solving skills & learning attitude

  • Self Starter, Team player

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own end-to-end Architecture from definition phase to go-live phase

  • Ensure clarity on NFR and address these requirements during Architecture definition phase

  • Define Logical, Technical & Physical views of Data Architecture

  • Work closely with Ent Architect, integration architects and customer CTO team to implement the tech road map for the enterprise.

  • Review SQL queries to ensure acceptable performance

  • Lead performance engineering and capacity planning exercises for data tier

  • Help PM in identifying key technical risks and mitigation plan for the same

  • Help PM in effort estimation and planning. Mentor & guide Tech Leads & Software Engineers

 Other Responsibilities:

  • Handle interviews to attract external talent for the role of Technical Architect/Tech Lead

  • Nurture & groom in-house budding Architects

  • Build ‘Reference Enterprise Data Model’ for selected technical domains

  • Involve in pre-sales process and lead creating effective proposals for large, complex systems

  • Write ‘Point of View’ document on emerging technology trends
