On behalf our client, an International Investment and Financial Services Consultancy, we have been mandated the responsibility of a specific placement for the role of Technology Component Analyst - Real Estate Fund Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Real Estate Technology Component Owner and the Real Estate Business Component Owner in building a best of breed global real estate platform. 

  • Analyse and scope requirements for onboarding clients to Yardi.

  • Manage and/or perform the migration of global client funds onto Yardi / SSC.

  • Assist with extraction, import (into Yardi) and assist business teams to reconcile financial and non-financial data.

  • Help support and train local Yardi users, superusers and technology teams.

  • A key subject matter expert resource for global real estate projects and initiatives.

  • Help the Real Estate Technology Component owner (Yardi application manager)to design and develop procedures, training and process manuals.

  • Help troubleshoot Yardi application issues (level 2 type support).

  • Key member of real estate component agile development team.

  • Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as directed/necessitated to ensure group success and progress towards the digital transformation strategy.

Attributes / Technical Skills: 

  • Good working knowledge of the relevant technology and applications, which for this component are: Yardi (essential) and others (desirable): property fund management systems, e.g. MRI, Qube, Tramps, Propman, Timberline.

  • Experience of data-extraction and client onboarding processes relating to Yardi, including use of ETL tools for accounting data migration.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively
    convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

  • Effective planning and organisational skills to manage competing priorities.

  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships with all levels of management and staff.

  • Advanced business analysis skills to identify internal customer needs and suggest robust technology solutions that conform to best practice and policies.

Relevant Experience:

Relevant financial services industry experience and exposure to the business processes and controls relevant to the real estate funds business.

  • Experience of implementing and/or maintaining business systems and applications in a financial/professional services organization is desirable.

  • Business analysis experience and ability to work closely with senior management to identify and implement efficiencies and continuous improvement.


Education / Memberships: 

  • Education to degree standard (or qualified by experience).

  • Qualifications relating specifically to real estate fund services or alternative fund
    administration.

  • Project/change management qualifications (e.g. Agile, Prince2).

  • Operational and business analysis qualifications (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
