Location: Remote

Tasks & responsibilities

Conceptual work: development, optimization and documentation of cloud architectures

Technical implementation: Consulting on AWS, RedHat, Openshift, Kubernetes and Cloud Security

Interface management: cooperation with internal teams and customers

Prioritization of cloud projects: Evaluation of up to 30 systems per month

Consulting and communication: support of management and the IT department in the implementation of the cloud strategy

Requirements & Qualifications

At least 5 years of professional experience in the IT sector

Experience as a cloud architect (at least 2-3 years)

Deep knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, RedHat, Openshift, Cloud Security

Experience in interface management

Nice-to-Have skills:

German language skills at least C1 level

Certifications: AWS / CSA / CKA / RedHat (RHCOA) / ISO 27001

Experience in cooperation with works councils and technical teams

Experience in documenting complex cloud architectures

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced storage management architect consultant. The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring multi-layered cloud storage solutions in our Microsoft 365 environment. In this feature, you create scalable and efficient storage architectures that meet business needs and ensure data integrity, availability and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement multi-layered cloud storage solutions for Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive and teams.
• Development and maintenance of standards and best practices for storage architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand storage requirements and provide technical advice.
• Optimize storage performance and capacity planning to ensure efficient resource use.
• Implement data backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect critical business data.
• Monitoring and management of the storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Conducting ratings and audits of storage systems to identify and resolve potential issues.
• KT and training of technical teams.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a storage expert or in a similar function, focusing on cloud storage solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 storage technologies, including SharePoint, OneDrive and teams.
• Strong understanding of data protection, disaster recovery and best storage security procedures.
• Experience with optimizing storage performance and capacity planning.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and cooperation skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. B. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• Experience with multi-cloud storage solutions and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with storage management tools and technologies such as NetApp, EMC or similar.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation of storage management tasks.
